Off road Tour to the Sacred Lake

Early in the morning, an exciting jeep journey begins through some of the most beautiful places in the Northern Tien Shan. It includes scenic gorges, high mountain passes, and endless alpine meadows.
The Semyonov Gorge and the Sacred Lake
The first stop is the Semyonov Gorge, one of the most famous in the Issyk-Kul region. Here we will enjoy stunning panoramas of green subalpine meadows, the “Kyrchyn” valley, and pine forests. The Sacred Lake is a small but picturesque mountain lake surrounded by legends. According to local beliefs, its waters have healing properties.
A walk along the lake, time to relax, and picture taking. A Mountain Pass Crossing to the Grigoriev Gorge. The most thrilling part of the journey begins at a high-mountain pass through the Kungey Alatoo Range, that connects the Semyonov and Grigoriev Gorges.
The road passes through alpine pastures where you may encounter herds of horses and yaks.
At the pass, breathtaking views of mountain peaks and valleys open up.
The Grigoriev Gorge: Lunch at a Yurt Camp.
After descending to the Grigoriev Gorge, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch in a yurt. You can try local trout and dishes of Kyrgyz cuisine. Fragrant tea made with local herbs is also served.
During lunch, you can learn about the nomadic lifestyle of local people.
Optional Horseback Ride After lunch, those who wish can take a horseback ride through the picturesque valley. Experienced guides will assist even beginners.
Final stop is at a small but beautiful waterfall. Here you can enjoy the sound of the mountain river and take pictures.
Return to Cholpon-Ata
After an eventful day, we head back to Cholpon-Ata, enjoying the evening colors of the mountain
landscape on the way.
